College Student Group Volunteer Opportunities

Have a large group that wants to help?

Due to current inventory and needs, we have taken a pause in accepting snack packs. Snack Packs Drives provide easily transportable food packs for young people experiencing homelessness that we meet during street canvassing or who visit our Outreach Center. We may also provide snack packs to youth in our other programs, when available and appropriate. You may organize your own drive off-site and assemble snack packs at your convenience or come to Oasis Center, assemble bags and get a brief tour of the agency. Volunteers provide all necessary snack pack materials. During the pandemic, we are unable to offer on-site assembly and tours. We will update this site as requirements change.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Threads n’ Treads is currently unavailable due to COVID.
Please contact Felisha Baquera
, if you have any questions. Threads n’ Treads is our clothes closet at Oasis. It provides youth in our programs—primarily those experiencing homelessness—the opportunity to pick out clean clothes that are in good shape. This space gets a lot of love, and sometimes that starts to show. We love for groups to come help us reorganize our space so that it is welcoming for our young people.

Food Packs On days we don’t have a volunteer cooking meals, we like to be able to provide our young people a food pack with lunch and food to take with them after they leave us. Lunches can include items such as sandwiches, fruit, chips, protein bars, drinks, desserts, and any other snack items. They can be dropped off at Oasis between 9 am – 3 pm on Monday or Wednesday. Please contact Felisha Baquera, if you need an alternate time.

Thank you for your interest in being part of the Oasis community!
