Mayor's Youth Summit 2021

The MYC is a youth led council that utilizes our assets to enhance our Civic engagement in an effort to form solutions for key issues in Nashville. This includes partnering with our public officials, teachers, community and most importantly our peers to guarantee everlasting change. This year's summit was held virtually on Zoom on November 3rd. Youth shared their ideas, experiences, concerns, and recommendations to Mayor John Cooper and other key city stakeholders. The topics covered in this years summit included Civic Engagement, Environment, Housing and Homelessness, Youth Education and Resources, Community Health and COVID impact, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
