Outreach Serves Up a Thanksgiving Feast

Every year, our Outreach team serves up a delicious Thanksgiving meal for young people experiencing homelessness. This year's lunch took place on Wednesday, November 27, with plenty of hungry youth and a family enrolled in our new Prevention program joining in! Our generous donors supplied the turkey and fixings, our amazing volunteers helped prepare the feast, and our dedicated Crisis to Housing staff dished everything out to guests before sitting down with them to share the delicious meal.

After lunch, the young people hung out and played games while watching holiday classics on the projector screen. Then staff wrapped up some of the leftover food and delivered it to young people in the community who were unable to join us.

It was a lovely day, and truly one of our favorite events of the year!
