Volunteer spotlight: Meet Kristin

Meet Kristin Johnson. Kristin has been volunteering with Oasis College Connection for more than a year, tutoring students in the Resource Center at Nashville State Community College’s White Bridge campus and chatting with them about career goals, dreams, and their life experiences. Kristin has also hosted donation drives for food pantry items and other essentials and has used her speech pathology skills to help MYC members hone their public speaking skills.

Kristin says she is amazed by the incredible youth she has met through Oasis, and is honored to be part of our efforts to support youth in the community. We are so grateful to Kristin for giving her time to Oasis Center, and for her work providing gender-affirming voice modification through her practice Voce Speech Therapy.
