Meet Amina

Amina is one of our International Teen Outreach Program (ITOP) artists who contributed to the beautiful Nashville Quilt Project on Charlotte Pike. Each of our ITOP artists was interviewed by author/photograher, Lily Hansen, as part of her upcoming book, Word of Mouth: More Conversations. Here's an excerpt:

"The flower represents love and how it always needs to be two-sided rather than one. If love is unbalanced then it cannot work. My butterfly is a symbol for peace. In my experience, Nashville represents love and peace."
