Mayor's Youth Council Turns 25!

The Mayor's Youth Council (MYC) recently commemorated their 25th anniversary with a celebration at Oasis. Mayor Freddie O'Connell, former Mayor Bill Purcell (who implemented the original MYC), Ronnie Steine (CEO of Oasis during MYC's formation), MYC alumni, and current MYC members spoke about the importance of MYC and why it's imperative for youth voices to be included in decisions that will directly impact their lives.

Current and previous Oasis CEOs, our Board President, and former and current MYC participants and staff were on hand to celebrate MYC and its accomplishments throughout the years.
